Mcdonald's....

.... McDonald's restaurants are closed. The drive thru access remains open.
My question is :-

Could a pedestrian wait in line along with the vehicles and walk up to the drive thru window and get served a favorite Big Mac or whatever. Btw I'm ignoring McDelivery options for this scenario. Anyone know McDonald's policy on this or any other thoughts.

I seem to remember in a previous lockdown, a man tried it wearing a cardboard box decorated like a car.

He was turned away.

I'd like to think so because I like the occasional McDonald's and my driver's side window won't go down. I doubt it though, probably a safety issue.

If you can enter a Mcdonald's or a KFC and buy a takeaway, which I did morning, can't really see what the problem is with turning up at a drive-through.
