Past Participle Of Forecast

Hi in my job I have to do monthly forecasting.
Is it correct to say "have you forecast that item" or "have you forcasted that item"
It's the whole team/teamsed debate over again!

In such verbs as these the preterite and the participle are identical.

come on come on

call a thing a thing and not another thing

The reason “typecasted” is “incorrect” is possibly because you don’t see it used in the past tense too often but more commonly as an adjective.
The other forms were probably not standard originally but have become naturalised through usage

It doesn’t matter what fancy terms you use.
If all the dictionaries agree then that’s all you need to know :-)
