Sorry if this question seems a bit morbid, but I'm just curious to know what people,if they had the choice of 2 songs, would choose to be 'sent over to the other side' with.My 2 choices would be the obvious 'Time To Say Goodbye' by Andrea Bocelli + Sarah Brightman, and the not-so-obvious choice of 'Angel' by Chiara, the Maltese Eurovision entry of last year and a fine song to boot.I could imagine popular choices would be Angels by Robbie Williams,or You Raise Me Up by Westlife or Brian Kennedy, for example.

easy peasy!

I can't have just two though - i have to be greedy and have three: one poignant:

Tracy Chapman's 'The Promise'

Monty Python (Eric Idle): 'Always Look On The Bright Side of Life'

and then as I went through the curtain: Rusted Root's 'Send Me On My Way'

Play The Shores of Avalon and Guardian Angel by the Seekers.
Peter Gabriel - Washing Of The Water
Radiohead - Pyramid Song

Can't bear the thought of something like that Python song... all these funerals are going to send up sounding the same! Also, what's all this about wanting people to have a laugh? Everyone wants to have a s*dding laugh all the time... A funeral's the one event where sadness, sorrow, crying, pain and hurting should be compulsory!
"Hell awaits" by Slayer

I have changed my mind from my earlier post and have now decided to try to have the most inappropriate funeral music ever so i want 'Lapdance' by NERD (possibly with some lapdancers next to my coffin) and 'Da ya think I'm sexy' by Rod Stewart. Can you imagine seeing an open casket with the lyric "If you want my body, just reach out and touch me" ringing in your ears?
