Fred Titmus, of England cricket fame, lost 4 toes in a motorboat accident in the West Indies - fortunately not the big toe, or his career would have been finished - so there is hope, Tony!!!

I think the place I’m going to have mine only does the Pfizer one but I’m not totally sure.
The lady who phoned me told me which one I’d get when I asked.

For some reason I'm expecting to get the AstraZeneca one as that's home grown , I may get a surprise though and get the Pfizer one ;)
same for me vagus - I asked the person who rang me. Because i'm in the ECV group apparently (here at least) they are only giving the OAZ to that group.
Our surgery originally was getting Pfizer and then it changed to Astravenica. I think it was just a matter of what the surgeries were sent initially, as our Medical Practice was one of the first to get the vaccines up and running. I don't know if there is more choice now, but am pleased we got the jab when we did. It was totally unexpected.
My sister was told that she couldn't be told when her second vac would be as it would depend when they got which vaccine (she had Pfizer) so i assume that her GP group gets both.
i got my first vaccination date this saturday at my surgery. 09.50am
Nice one. I'm still waiting for my mum to be called for hers.
i am surprised to say the least im 66 and didn't think it would happen this soon.
My mum is 68.
as i said i was rather taken aback, thought that 70's were next in line.

Still doing category 4 here Emmie
what's cat 4 Bobbi...
which vaccine you get depends on which they have. The hospital I went to had the Pfizer vaccine, but it ran out so by the time I got there a couple of days later they were doing AZ ones.
i am having the Astrazeneca vaccine apparently
I'm off there next Thursday, I'm 72 and got a letter last weekend, booked on line and did both appointments at the same time, second is on 30th April. Talking around it seems that if you do it on line you can do both, otherwise it depends on your local arrangements.
i only have a date for the first one, after i got a tx linking me to the surgery website.
