Table service only in pubs and restaurants worked very well last time and there was no evidence of excessive transmission of the virus. Is it because that having fun is now frowned upon and that we now are only allowed to exist?

It is now frowned upon to have fun. We are only here to endure life for as long as possible, staring at the four walls, not taking any risks whatsoever. The only thing that matters is that we live forever.

the matter is that those with covid 19 the elderly, infirm, disabled, are often dying in a most horrendous manner, no death is good, but seems that to pass away from covid 19 means a much nastier time all round.

I don't know anything you don't. But I'd wager (although I don't normally bet) that the lockdown is not lifted this side of Easter (April 2nd) and that when it is, pubs will be able to serve drinks and food only outside. Let's hope April is not as cold as usual.

lankeela I highly doubt that immediate opening of pubs would be the first move in the road map out of lock down. it will be veyr gradual and schools, will be the priority. I wouldn't expect pubs and restaurants until after Easter
