Saves money. Anne Robinson used to wear different designer black outfits on The Weakest Link. I don’t think ITV could afford that.

They probably film several episodes in one studio day, so it saves time if they simply carry on, but I also think the 'persona' point is valid.

Believe 3 episodes a day are filmed.Assume as Shaun Wallace has his legal work and Daragh Ennis his scientific work there 3 are all in same day.
