I am blind to dust. Sometimes I am almost blinded by the dust in my house. I made the huge mistake of buying a glass tv stand. It is impossible to get the dust off, it just moves about.
During lockdown I’ve heard a lot of people saying their houses have never been so clean as it’s given them something to do.
The reverse has happened in this establishment. No one can come over the doorstep, no unexpected visitors, so no point ‘moving the dust around’.
Think I might have to do something about it fairly soon though, now the sun is showing just how bad it really is!
Same here Vagus. I did a damp dust in the lounge the other day. The first time I had dusted in ages! And the sunshine has expose rather a lot of cobwebs. I have never been the best of housewives and get worse with age. I don't even care what people think any more. Life is too short!
Before lockdown, my family came for a meal on Friday evening so I had a good clean up in the morning. As this has now stopped, the cleaning routine has become a little slapdash and as others have said, I’m not bothered by it.
"Attacking" bedroom today, surprised how thick the dust is, will take a while, but will get there eventually, so many nick-nacks to clean. Net curtains on the line, shouldn't take to long to dry given the sun and light breeze.
Done the lounge and bathroom washbasin and toilet get a daily going over, not much else as we're having a walk in shower installed next weekend so we'll be eating dust anyway :0(
ael, dead skin. All of it is dead skin, from you, your family and your pets.
Not really, some of it is insect excrement, pollen, mould, decomposing insects.
