what rights do i have as a grandmother of a 7 year old who lives with his father, everytime my daughter goes for custody he threatenes to kill her. My grandson does not want to live with his father anymore. My daughter has moved out of state to get away from him, But she wants her son! I feel it would be best if i went for gardenship of my grandson and my daughter is in agreement with me. what can i do?

Do you live in UK? If so your granson could phone Childline for advice, or you could on his behalf.

Thank you all for your words of care I now know I need to put my foot down with the child services in california. You have been wonderful. My daughter is now going to really fight for her son and record all calls to use in court. She hopes to have her son back in the near future. I will keep you all informed. Again thank-you so much for your in put. I no longer feel so helpless. My LOVE to you all
