// Who really gives a rats rectum as to when other countries adjust their clock //
some years ago, a government official went to inspect some equipment we were buying from a supplier in Montgomery, Alabama. after a successful visit he made his way to Atlanta for his flight home and noted he had time before his flight for a "professional interest" visit to Atlanta's newly opened MARTA commuter railway. checking in for his flight afterwards, he discovered the plane had already left. he'd neglected to account for the hour's difference between Georgia and Alabama time. luckily for him there was a later flight via Copenhagen and he wasn't stranded; unlucky for him his claim against us for the extra cost of his Danish excursion was rejected.
So actually, it does help to know what time it is elsewhere in the world......
