Did anybody watch this when it went out on Sunday because I am just watching it now on catch up T V.I’d just like to ask what Barney Walsh did wrong to only get 8 or 9 stars from the judges for a great performance of Flash,Bang,Wallop when Jessica Hynes got 3 10’s for a very low key performance and also Robert Rinder got 3 10’s also.Seemed a bit fixed to me.

I had no idea who the contestants or the judges (except Elain Paige) were.

Agree that the Flash performance was the best.

Yep, Barney is definitely his fathers son, I thought he’d have been marked higher

i did watch it but wasn't impressed with the whole thing, though i knew that Robert Rinder would win for some reason

Agree about Jessica but I wasn't so keen on Barney. I wanted Robert Rinder to win, I really did think he was the best. Just a matter of taste, I suppose. You have to follow musical theatre to know who the judges were,except perhaps Elaine.

I watched it and I wondered the same thing. Barney was good I thought

I felt Barney’s main problem was a slight lack of voice, whereas Jessica really let rip at the end of her song and she was my favourite.
I thought Robert Peston should have left the glasses off and that poor woman in the beard was handed the loser’s ticket before she opened her mouth.
Absolutely loved the guest girl who sang the song from Cinderella. Fabulous voice!

Totally agree with you about Barney, I thought his performance was excellent and deserved 10's. I personally thought he was better than Judge Rinder !

He did a very fast moving song as well as danced , very hard I’d think
