Light indicates a fault reading somewhere in the airbag system.

could be a faulty bag or just a faulty connection,get it checked out,could save your life.

it will more than likely be one of the front seat belt pretensioners there quite common for that

you may want to check for a faulty connection on the plug under the drivers seat.

Is it flashing or has it just come on - I know some flash and the way they flash (ie two quick flashes - a delay and then two quick flashes) denotes what problem it is - It could just be a pretensioner plug under the seat - undo them and reconnect them.
