The photo looked like Jo with her hair tied back. She’d be in the file as her DNA was in Farida’s flat. Just seemed to be the cliffhanger as to who the match was.
Unless that is a bigger red herring and it’s the DNA is linked to Farida. Seems more likely Jo’s though.
I’m sure Steve said the match was a he. I was watching with subtitles. He also said it was on the general police database, not the police staff one, and a nominal record. Which could be a general record, but AC12 se to refer to nominals as important people in the OCGs.
Though it’s unclear if police who were dodgy would still be on the police DNA database or just the wider criminal one. Though John Corbett’s may have been removed as he was working undercover.
