Was Anyone Familiar With Yahoo Answers And Sad That It Shut Down

it was my main place to go to for help and answers, i'd been a member for 16 years, since 2006, now its shut forever, gone into thin air...now i'm having to learn about other sites like this and get adjusted to them and the differences...i mainly used to use yahoo answers for the mental health category.

Yes, I used to have a look in at Yahoo Answers. It is a shame that such a long-standing website has shut down. I used to spend some time there but i think i prefer the layout of this site the user interface is decent

I did a google "where can i go now yahoo answers is closed" and all i got was news articles about yahoo -.- so i searched for uk answers and after a few pages ended up here

Never used Yahoo Answers, but wouldn't recommend this site (AB) for mental health answers or health issues. I would prefer a facebook private group for any health issues or any personal issues. Most of the recognised and trusted Health organisations have private groups on Facebook Some members on here cannot be trusted to give sensible answers.

I wouldn't really recommend any open Q&A sites for questions on mental health - you might get some useful posts about personal experiences but questions like that are best addressed to professionals.
