Would You Sa He Is Unprofessional?

Many years ago I visited a doctor to have something put on my records. On holiday in France about ten years ago I was taken ill on a boating holiday in France. I had very badly inflamed legs, I was taken to hospital, diagnosed with vasculitis, when I came home, went to doctors, not my regular one. Told him the tale, said I don't believe you have had it. I still have the scars today.
Recently since covid, I went to doctors, saw same doctor, I have an open sore on my hand, he examined it, said it could be cancerous, arranged appointment with specialists. Then he said let me look at your stomach, he poked and prodded then said, you need to lose some weight!
What would you think?

Ah you didn't say that he'd refused Caran.

Did he believe you'd been misdiagnosed in regard to vasculitis? Perhaps he made a note on your records to say that you'd reported that you'd had it?

Did the French doctor send on any documentation to your GP ten years ago?

French hospital didn't ask for details of British doctors.

French hospitals usually issue detailed green forms with details of treatment which are given to the patient. Did you get those?

There are many types of vasculitis and without sight of your first presentation or any tests done overseas I can see why the GP was reluctant to record a diagnosis.

It all sounds like normal behaviour to me,not unprofessional at all.
