This watch is automatic but needs manually winding if off wrist for a day or so. The instn booklet gives 3 postions on the crown (it is the day/date model) and says pull out to position 1 to manually wind but this does not seem to work!
Position 1 alters day/date - position 2 stops second hand and 3 alters time with hands. Have tried winding with crown completely in but that ddoes not work although 'shaking it. does start it again. What am I doing wrong please?
Thanks
Moggie
"For automatic watches, turn the crown clockwise to position I (approximately ten turns). The automatic winding system then ensures it is fully wound."

Thanks for that davebro
Doing this also moves on the date BUT it also winds the watch as I can hear it!
Just need to adjust the date after winding. Seems a funny way to do thison the Tissot but it works! The booklet with watchwas not clear although it does say position 1
Thanks again
Moggie
Thanks for that - it worked but what confused me on the Tissot was that it also moves on the date! So I gave it 30 winds and it wound up nd came back to correct date! Very confusing after my Rokex
