Woofy I didn't know you buy them but I've found a supplier and think I'll go ahead for the blackfly on my roses and plum tree. Am I best to the the larvae or adults? https://www.suttons.co.uk/garden-equipment/all/ladybirds_mh2393

Hmmm!- at first I thought this was a ‘wind-up’!
Insect ‘slave labour’.....Nothing to stop them flying away!
- Seriously, maybe better to go for the larvae ? (Although I like the idea- a bit on the pricey side?
LB, larvae eat more
Thanks Woofy. Now this may be a daft question but how the heck do you get the larvae to stick onto the bush? Think getting the adults might be easier?
As I understand it, they come packaged or with a release bag . you fasten the whole open package into the tree near the blackfly or put the package contents into the release bag and put that in the tree.
I get blackfly on my buddleia every year, my remedy, is pure and simply, water via a high pressure hose gun.
A good strong blast, usually see's them off for good!
