Busy Day.

OH had two appointments today. One locally for meningitis jab and one other side of gloucester for covid test. Only problem second appointment was 45 minutes after the first one but a long drive away. Why on earth the hospital chose to have a covid test done so far away when we have sites for is locally.
I worried about timings so rang surgery and got his time brought forward for the jab. That took the pressure off for the second appointment.
We have got everything organised for his hospital visit. Hospital have said he will not be able to drive after his op. So daughter is taking us to the hotel in Bristol on Wednesday. He has his op Thursday. He may be discharged to hotel that night or have another night in hospital. I will be in the hotel. Friends are coming to take us home on Friday.
He is not happy, consultant told him he cannot go to France on the holiday he booked for August. He goes every year driving round somewhere in Europe. But this year he has to obey rules.

Well done getting all that sorted, he's waited too long so missing this years jaunt will have to be.

My cousin had to go for another Covid test quite a good bit away as in miles. She came through Covid in January there. She rang her doctor regarding extreme acid reflux and he (doctor) told her to go for the second Covid test which was negative. However on talking with the practice manager of that surgery, she was told Ach we do Covid testing here in the surgery and can tell you the result pretty quickly. What is happening?
