I have to admit to forgetting that it was taking place. I've just checked on the ticket prices. It's only £18 to watch the women in the group stages but £30 or £35 to watch the men. It's also £30 or £35 to watch the eliminator stage (but the £35 tickets are all sold out). Tickets for the final have all been sold already, so I can't see what the price was.
Those are very reasonable prices to watch sport these days but I still can't get up much enthusiasm for the idea of going to watch it myself.
The ticket sales page shows, for example, that for Oval Invincibles v Manchester Originals, tickets for the women's match in the group stage (on 21 July) are offered separately to those for the men's match (on 22 July). Clicking through on the links shows the prices I've quoted above:

I think it's only at the later stages that the men and women come together.
There are not any matches in my region so no i am not going. And i have got to be convinced they are any superior to what we already have. It appears to be a money making gimmick.
