Went for a Covid test yesterday as my cough, headache and fatigue were just getting worse. Was like a wet lettuce on Saturday and just wanted to sleep. Results came back early this morning as negative which is good, but it still leaves me feeling like a bag of rubbish.
What can I do now?

As anticipated.......just keep taking the Ibuprofen.
This should settle.
Feedback appreciated.
Good you have that reassurance, treat yourself as you always would with a virus of this type.

Rest, fluids and pain relief.

Sqad, what if I have a chest infection? In the past, you could go to the doctors and they would sound your chest, possibly send you for a chest x-ray, but obviously you can't go to the doctors now if you have a cough. How long should I leave it before contacting the GP?
When you cough are you bringing up sputum?

Yes Mamya, am doing those things. Could sleep for England at the moment and no appetite. Hate feeling like this, hope it soon goes away.

Yes elliemay, not as much, but still a fair bit.
You HAVE a chest infection.
If it is viral then it will take the rest of the week to settle.
If it is bacterial, the advice is the same.....
There is no way of knowing which it is.
If there is a deterioration in your condition within the next two days, 5hen contact your GP.
