People do age - and when two of the cast are playing at-home children, it looks odd when they are obviously past that age.
I have seen some of the last episodes, and it looks like they let it run well past its sell-by date.
Much better to do a few brilliant series and stop with great memories and a solid body of work, than to limp on and die a painful death. The Office and Fawlty Towers are perfect examples - always leave 'em wanting more.
But look at Al Bundy in the first season of 1987-he looks so young there, and then look at the final seasons and he is just a tired, old man. Has anyone seen more recent pics of him? He looks so old! well he is 60...
I preferred the early ones before it had become well known. I gave up on it when it got to the stage where the studio audience would spend 5 minutes whooping and hollering every time one of the main characters came in through the door. Who had they been expecting, exactly?
