Proving that fools and their money are soon parted, three-hour queues just to pay £12.50 for a pot of honey, tea towel £8.50, and baseball cap £20.

Article quite amusing in parts (e.g. reference to Jeremy's genitals), but a visit to "his" farm is not my cup of tea.

P.S. Yes, I'm aware there are many similar rip-off sites - which makes my point more in a way.
A scam is something different to being ripped off.
Hahahahaha - similar prices at Glamis Castle where the Queen Mother was born. Apparently endorsed by Prince Charles and the prices are a joke. Love visiting as it's quite near me, but never buy anything other than a coffee and a scone (expensive too).
Why have you put the 'his' is quote marks? It is Clarkson's farm
Dont go then Canary. The problems have been widely reported for some weeks now so anyone going really is a fool, but if that makes them happy then fine.

Why have you put his farm in inverted commas. Do you think it is someone else's?

People are not going just for the tea towels its because of the highly successful series JC produced for Amazon. As with any location for any tv for some reason people like to go there.

BTW, even your beloved Guardian said it was a good series!
It has good reviews on Google.
I loved it. wouldn't buy anything though, far too tight with money.
Adam Henson charges adults £16 entrance fee , children between 4 and 15 £15 and toddlers £10.
£30 for a half bottle gin.

People choose to go there - and if they choose to buy that's up to them.
PS. Fortnum and Mason are marketing as vegan made in Spain crisps and selling them for £25 a packet.

He is cashing in on his fame. He needs the money because the farm made measly profits last year.
Always take a shopping trolley filled with butties, crisps and drinks and a screwdriver and spanner.
Oh yes, walk in the entrance without paying, give them a story.
''We are expected, here to :-
Make a film.
Check security.
Paid earlier but lost ticket.
Maintenance crew.''
If folk are stupid enough to pay such amounts, then he is not stupid enough to refuse it. Just because he’s on telly they want to see him.
If the price is on the products, it's not a scam.
Clarkson is worth over £48m, he doesn't need his farm to make a profit.
