Of course he should be deported but i do not see any personal comment from Patel 'vowing' to do just that as claimed in Danny's link. Nor do i see any mention of Cherie Blair:-/ Instead, what i read was a Home Office spokesman giving the usual stock answer whenever things like this occur.

I read your link, Danny, and nowhere did i see any quotes from the Minister. If, as the paper claimed, she had made such a vow, do you not think they would have quoted her? The fact they quoted a 'spokesman' instead gives me the impression that Patel made no such vow.
Don't get me wrong, I hope there is a record of such a vow. Then we can reasonably expect this scumbag to be deported PDQ.

There’s no need. All he has to do is say he’s had a barney with somebody and they’ve threatened to do him in.

I don’t know why there is a clamour to deport him. Illegal migrants are arriving in their hundreds (literally) every week. But I forgot – they are all nuclear scientists and brain surgeons. The police in the UK are now buying up stocks of rubber boats to prevent them being used for the illegal crossings. That should work well.
