What Determines How Quickly Cold Water Turns Hot When Running The Tap?

It takes 3 or 4 large bowls full since I had a new Bosch gas boiler installed. With my old boiler it was about 2.5 to 3. Nobody else I have asked in my block of flats has to wait as long. Is it controlled by a setting on the boiler?

PP, a visit to Specsavers would be in order.
my boiler has a dial for water temperature and a dial for radiator temperature

if you have the same dials make sure that the hot water temp is turned up
it used to take me a couple of liters to get hot water also until I found the dial on my boiler it was a life savr now it comes out hot
