Neighbour Not Seen In Months

not seen my neighbour in a couple of months there bin hasn't moved and neither has their car and the grass isn't mowen and usually they keep on top of it bit worried about him but shall I contact the police

youd think friends or family or work would have filed something about them being missing im worried he lives alone and maybe had a fall or something

unfortunately there is no news yet and ive not seen anyone go to the house i would have thought they would have tried asap

I have a neighbour who is a recluse and a hoarder.
He never ever puts any of his bins out, he never bothers with any of the neighbours and even if he is in and you knock on his door, he never answers.
His curtains have been permanently closed since the day he moved in over 10 years ago and they are pushed up to the window because of all the rubbish.
His car hasn't moved off the drive in years and that too is full of rubbish.
His next door neighbour reported it to our Housing Association and they say there is nothing they can do about it although we don't believe them.
It can be very difficult to help someone who believes they don't need it.

unfortunately barsel the idea came to my mind because of a shift in normality for this person they used to always spend time in the garden maintaining it and also they used to take recycling to the bins daily they used to get home and leave for work like clockwork and often i would see their shape via the translucent bathroom window but it all just stopped, no bins moved no grass cut no car drove and nothing seen i did knock the door and no reply so i contacted the police and they asked me so many questions i told them all and they were happy i contacted them but nothing since now and i keep my eye out because they said any news and update us please unfortunately there is nothing to update except things are the same and i am still concerned

smowball i fear a note will not help the man is either in there and not alive or he is not in the house there was some letter build up in the letter box but i think a local person who puts ads through peoples doors and wouldnt have known the situation pushed it into the house
