In The Times yesterday Rory Stewart is quoted as saying (about Afghanistan) "We are going to have to take millions of refugees - cumulatively the US & Europe. That's a big problem for the Brexiteers but they brought in on themselves"

Apart from those who aided British forces and to whom we owe a moral obligation, the rest will have to make their own way to Europe and then take their chances from there.
It seems that Canada is going to accept 20,000 or so refugees.
