She keeps attacking one of the worlds leading climate change responders, yet she ignores the big boys, China, USA, India etc! UK is responsible for 1% of the emissions, we cannot make any difference yet we do put in a massive effort. Go and visit China Greta, open your eyes love.

First of all, I have not had seventy-odd years to achieve anything, since I am actually sixty-six.

But that aside, what Ms Thunerg has 'achieved' is a degree of attention for her beliefs, or rather the beliefs of her parents for which she is a mouthpiece.

Attention is free, which is why she has got so much of it - but in terms of actual change and impact - her efforts amount to a massive zero since she is utterly ignored by China, the biggest creator of climate polution by a very considerable margin.

I refer you to the typically cogent and excellently reasoned argument at 13.25 from New Judge who, as usual, has presented the entire pointlessness of Ms Thunburg's endless attention-seeking nonsence far more eloquently than I could.

Not because I am not as eloquent as New Judge - but simply because I cannot be bothered to state those simple facts yet again.

and now, supposedly, it isn't. The herculean effort by Londoners and tourists alike not to go there, and the self-denying sacrifice by 17% of the shops in closing down this year have sorted things out.

Let us continue to lead the world and fund Bezos' space travel.
