Just wondering what the regional differences are for a pint??
I went to Manchester yesterday and was paying £4.70 for a pint of Amstel.
I missed my train on the way back and had an hour to kill, so I popped into the bar at Manchester Victoria ...... £5.89 for a pint of Stella.
Needless to say, I was relieved to get back to my local in Burnley - £3.20 for a pint of Carling :)

So what do you pay in your area and where are ya??

it averages at 6 quid in most of the pubs i know in London, a pint of Magners is £5.50 in one local the Queens Larder.
this is an expensive place to live. You can get cheaper in Wetherspoons, but i have no idea what it costs for a pint of beer in one
€4.50 for a pint of Guinness (about £3.90) in Kerry
£6-20 for a pint of real ale and a double vodka and Diet Coke
£2.37 for a pint of Molson Ex in my local.
Most of the pubs I drink have prices that vary considerably, I have paid as little as £2.80 for a 'house beer ' session ipa, to £8 for an imperial stout. Some with experimental hops Or above 8% abv tend to be sold by the half pint and come out a bit pricier.
it says about £4
next time you in manchester we can meet up for a pint
Good grief, price of a pint is what I earned for a week back in the day (yes, I'm old). Thank goodness I don't drink.
£3.30 , Carling
Leffe beer in our local comes out at 7.20 a pint.... its a specialist beer apparently.
I like Leffe - it's stronger than most beers, abt 7% I think. Aldi & Lidl usually sell it around Xmas time. Not been in a pub since 2019!
Don't go out much nowadays, Giz, but i was in Sycamore Farm a few weeks back for a farewell do for my grand-daughter who was off to Uni. I washed my beef and ale pie down with a few pints of John Smith's Smooth which, if i remember correctly, was £3.20 per pint.
In answer to the OP, I dunno. I don't drink alcohol.

A bit of a coincidence - my mum has recently moved into one of them new houses a bit further up from Sycamore Farm ..... who knows, we may have crossed paths without even realising!!

Thanks for all the replies peeps ..... as expected, quite a big difference in some of the prices up and down the country.
I am in Norfolk. This evening in my local i enjoyed a pint of San Miguel for £4.50.
about £3.65 in Cornwall in a 'normal' establishment.
