Free Gift.

A catalogue I use occasionally promised a free vacuum cleaner to everyone who qualified by way of a purchase. I was promised one, that was nearly a year ago. I emailed and asked where it was.
Today I received a large parcel. Not a vacuum but a big BBQ/fire box.
Bit late in the year now but will look forward to using it next year.

Wonder if it’s a catalogue I once used Caran. I was promised a free iron with my purchase.
What arrived looked like a plastic model of Saturn. Took ages for me to work out it was a battery operated floor polisher.
Useless but the cat loved it.

Generally, those types of things are always too good to be true.

Usually, BM but I wasn’t fussed about getting a free gift. Just wanted and was happy with what I’d ordered.

The bonus was watching the cat follow the free floor polisher. I’m easily amused.

I don't know if it's the same catalogue but I received a free handheld vacuum cleaner some years ago. It looked cheap and useless but my daughter is still using it to get up crumbs etc when a full clean isn't necessary
