OK! Good grief indeed Mamya
Depends. I have made arrangements for my forthcoming birthday with my girlfriends, so I'm looking forward to that.
Not really but then I wasn't really brought up to it because of the date. I don't mind saying it's 31st Dec (I made it into the birthday book one year but then got dropped haha). As a child and young teen parents were always out celebrating New Year. As an adult I felt guilty that people had to buy me a present straight after Xmas so it's always been low key and hasn't excited me since I was about 10.
Whoops!..

I like celebrating birthdays because its better than the alternative...

Boxing Day meant that I never understood the fuss about birthdays, and I've only just managed to learn by heart my wife's birthday. As for the kids, I haven't a clue.
I think nothing wrong about celebrating a birthday. To interact with other people is healthy. It is better than to mope around depressed which can lead to early ageing.
