Iron tablets

Since taking iron tablets (prescribed by Dr for "lower - end- of -normal range" anemia) I have been incredibly hungry. Is this just a coincidence of does ferrous sulphate (iron) give you the munchies? Anyone know?

try google with ferrous sulphate side effects and it will bring up loads of things for you to look at.

I have never taken iron tablets as I have the opposite my blood is too rich in iron, not sure what happens with that though!
