I can’t imagine life without this regal lady, from being a small girl and celebrating her coronation to seeing her at 95 yrs old , a working lady
I wish her well but I know the law of averages says we will lose her and that saddens me

My Mum went into hospital at 95 with diverticulit is and perforated bowel. I well remember Her Majesty's Coronation and while not a Royalist, on a personal basis I very much admire Betty and I'm sure she's got years left in her still (like her Mum).
Long Live Our Noble Queen.

Oh I didn't know that, that's a shock. I must admit when I saw her out and about one day last week, the day she didn't wear a hat, I thought for the first time how frail she was looking and of course her walking is becoming slightly more laboured. It would be very sad indeed if she didn't make her platinum anniversary next year. I've grown up with her as our Monarch and it will be a sad and sorry day, for me, when we lose her.
Morning Bobbs. I don't remember the actual Coronation as I was only a toddler, but there is a large black and white photo in one of Mum's albumns of a group of kids from toddler to teenage all gathered together, celebrating. I'm one of the little 'uns' sat at the very front and my Grandma is there, smiling widely.
