What the hell's the big deal about having no washing machine anyway. I've never owned one and never wanted to. I'm not so lazy that I can't be bothered to hand wash a few items (to be hung over the bath to dry). Everything else goes to the launderette, where I pay someone to wash it all for me.
Millions of people around the world live without washing machines. Making a fuss over such a small issue simply makes you sound like a spoiled brat.
While having a friend help you to move is obviously useful, automatically expecting that a friend will do so simply smacks of selfishness to me.
Get over it, pal. There are far more important things in life to worry about!
