To be fair, many (most?) homeless people have mobile phones. They charge them in McDonald's, in public libraries or in places like station waiting rooms, just the same as many other people do.
Bobbi...are you doubting Chris? Mobiles are almost a necessity as it's the only way that the homeless can keep connected to needed services...social, housing, medical.
Though how the homeless are portrayed in tv and ads is always too...idealised...clean...unreal?
What I couldn't understand about Kelly last night was firstly why Nina didn't take her back to the flat which she now has all to herself and secondly why no-one offered the poor girl a shower !
Dev had already offered to put Kelly up. Nina felt she had to 'do the right thing' when she saw Kelly being targetted but in no way can she forgive and forget - yet.
Nina would find it intolerable to share her home with Kelly.
In fairness to the Woolpack and The Rovers being empty and devoid of atmosphere , the scenes at the moment were probably done several months ago.
Covid restrictions were being adhered to and the soaps have tried to carry on . Some have been cut down in time ,like Eastenders and scenes drawn out in other soaps. Hopefully they will be back to normal soon.
