Just been announced the game between The Clarets and Spurs is off. Apparently, as fast as they clear the pitch of snow, it is covered again and the ref has deemed it 'unsafe'. Was looking forward to heaping a tad more misery on an out of sorts Spurs outfit :-)

They’re scared of your lot, no way should a game be p-p in the Premier league due to pitch conditions, the only reason due to weather should be travelling fans safety.

Arky, we didn't get any snow until about 11.30 - 12 o'clock and when it did come, it did so thick and fast. Perhaps spectator safety was paramount in the decision. Just feel terribly sorry for all those Spurs fans who have made the journey north.

In fact just read that the undersoil heating had been on all night but couldn't cope with the amount of snowfall.
