My friend who has been very sick and in hospital for 6 weeks and got home last Monday. Anyway she tried to order groceries online and her card was blocked.
Had a terrible time contacting the bank (she can't breathe) who said that her card was blocked because inactivity. After a bit of time it was sorted.
Would that be true, like I could lift money if I wanted - to do me for a month and a half but I don't think I would have been blocked, well I don't think so. Would this be correct?
I can't see her as she is in Bangor - she lives on her own - so I'm thinking perhaps being very sick at home as well - she hadn't been purchasing for some weeks prior to going into hospital.
Jennyjoan - how do you manage to spend actual cash in the current climate? I've still got the same £10 note in my purse that I've had since March 2020 as no retailers around here accept cash.
I don't do cash jj any more now since they take cards for small amounts in shops.
Except I did get some a couple of days ago so I have cash ready to give as Christmas Thank You gifts to my favourite delivery guys and gals.
