People need to weigh up their circumstances and make their own decisions. If I were old and or had underlying health problems I would get jabbed. If I were young fit and healthy, probably not.

I think it's terrible that people gloat and rub their hands in glee when someone who hasn't been vaccinated dies. Is this what Western society has come down to?

I don't think 237sj that posters here are generally if at all rubbing " their hands in glee when someone who hasn't been vaccinated dies", there just reminding those who dont see it that being unvaxxinated is an unnecessary risk for them and for others. Some posts have mocked them which i agree is sad, but the warnings need to be made. Having said that I realise some just are so entrenched in there view that nothing will persuade them to have it, nailits an example

I never understand the fairly widespread claim that its a risk to fertility because it hasnt been fully tested for many years yet, yet theres no reason is there to think it might have any affect at all on fertility and certainly no evidence to support the claim or fear

Agree with Anne. No gloating, but just feel very sad that they more than likely passed it on before the died. The anti vaxers seem to be a smug, self satisfied lot who have no regard for others.

I don't know anyone who gloats and rubs their hands. Most feel as I do about my sister. Annoyed at the threat they are posing to others and sad that they can't see what it could do to them and their family.

The vast majority in Covid ICU nowadays are unvaccinated - taking up valuable beds and resources - yet still they claim they have the "right of free choice" (to damage the NHS at a most critical time).

I'm in a WhatsApp group which one of my friends, who is a die-hard vegan, created for people she has met that want to be vegan. Its mostly to do with plant based food ideas but two days ago someone in the group posted a message about the vaccines being poisonous and that she and her family caught covid and everyone recovered after mild symptoms. Some of the others agreed with her about the vaccines being poisonous but one person got very upset and angry saying that some of her family had been affected badly. She left the group. I agree with her as I've had two deaths in my family due to covid and I've left the group too.

I'm vaccinated - but can still pass on Covid, as can all vaccinated people - so stop feeling condemnatory some of you about others who choose differently. The difference is small really. People who choose not the be vaccinated only risk their own lives when it comes down to it, because vaccinated people tend to get a milder illness. Everyone has that choice.

I will not discriminate against people on these or other grounds and nor should others.

ICUs are also full of people who choose to smoke, eat or drink too much or take illegal drugs. We all make our own choices.

If someone wasn't vaccinated and got Covid, became very ill but then recovered, could they then (if they decided to) be vaccinated if being ill changed their mind?
