Cleaning A Sheepskin Fleece

Good Morning,
Does anyone know how to 'freshen' up a fleece?
We have a beautiful double fleece but after being slept on by the mogs its a bit wiffy - any ideas how to get it a bit 'cleaner'

Much as I love cats, my number one favourite smell in the world is that of a wet dog! Nothing can come close to it, in my opinion ;-)

Wet dogs smell like old jumpers. Cats don't really smell of anything.

I only ever owned one sheepskin rug, given to me in the 1970s by my sister in law.
It stank to high heaven.
The smell was nothing to do with cats, dogs or horses - it was more the smell of dead sheep.
Urgh! It was horrible.

I gave my pal's husband Wet Dog shower Gel as a gift once. I wonder what it smelled like?!

RH, please accept my apologies for derailing your thread. It is actually nice to see a thread without any gripes,political disagreements or the usual historic wars being resurrected.
