If you are going to reheat rice, store it properly beforehand, and make sure it's very hot.

I reheat them every time we have one. Just make sure the rice is spread out over a plate cover it and give it a real good zapping.

I have often re-heated Chinese food and have never had any problems. Just make sure it's piping hot.

No no no to fried rice. Anything else just be very very careful to reheat it thoroughly right through

Yes, I've often done it with no problems. Just make sure it gets properly heated right through.

A lot of "health advice" these days is strongly Marketing-driven to make you buy more instead.
