Has just had a baby 10lb 2oz. Has anyone else had a baby of this proportion? My biggest was 8lb 7oz and that was big enough

Oh wow, what a bruiser! Mind you, she was the size of a house. What did she have? Boy? Girl?

And no I can't top that (thank Gawd) my last one was 7lb 13oz.

My daughter weighed 9lbs 4oz.I'm 5 foot 1 inch tall & weigh 7 stone,so you can imagine how big I was. when I was pregnant

My son Joe was 9lbs 9 oz , so no we can't better 10lbs 2 oz, although my wife's brother was 12lbs 2 oz when he was born, again, normally.

It was a normal birth maggie, she has had all 3 of her kiddies at home!

It is her third baby, so I would imagine that size would be relatively 'easy' ;o)

My first baby was near on 10lb..and it was far from easy :o( luckily for me they got smaller each time ~ my last baby was a wee one at 6lb 4oz!

My first baby was 10lb 3oz and my 2nd was 9lb 2oz. They didnt look like newborns when they came out and we had to change all the clothes we had bought them. It was nice having bigger babies because they didnt feel so fragile and my husband wasnt too scared to hold them!!

my last two were 10lbs 1oz and 10lbs 4oz respectively - they were both quite overdue - 18 days and 12 days - and I was told with both approx 2 weeks before due date they were a good size - so why they let me go so far over I don't know !!!!

my son was 9lbs 6.5ozs and i had gone 17 days overdue. When i saw my community midwife after the birth she told me theyd expected me to birth earlier than i did and that theyd had a very good idea as to how big he was gonna be but didnt want to scare me lol
He was so long and never had a newborn look about him either, he didnt even curl up when he slept and had grown out of moses basket by 3 weeks old.

Kirstie Allsopp's baby was born in July weighing 11 lbs 11 oz!

my baby was a 10 pounder it was like giving birth to a baby elephant with the assistance of forceps, i beleive Davinia had a natural birth at home , ouch makes my eyes water everytime i think of my own birth.

Thanks for all the replies. I really didn't think there were that many bigger babies around. I thought maybe 9lb was the biggest. Congratulations to all you ladies who went through one of these births. You deserve a medal.
