The Best Antivirus Software.

Im Buying a new pc soon and i thought i would buy some new antivirus software.

i am using at the moment norton antivirus but its not very good. I do have Mcafee firewall which i find is good.

Can anyone recommend any other Antivirus software.

NOD 32 AV software is quite good, and reasonably priced. Look it up on the web.

I use AVG from Grisoft. Free, daily autoupdates and very good.

For a firewall, I use Sygate personal firewall... again free, and again very good.

I use Trend PC-Cillin. It does antivirus + anti spyware and is very good. unobtrusive yet you know it is working as you get a message each time it scans an incoming email.

AVG Free as Lazygun says. And for firewall I personally use Kerio Personal Firewall (also doesn't cost anything). For spyware scanning I use Adaware Personal (again, doesn't cost anything).

All three combined are just as good or better than the Nortons and Mcafees of this world.

anti vir is superb, just download it, there's one free ,and one you pay for

I think avast is best. You can get it free for one year. Its is easy to maintain. There are some significant features of new additions. Avast sandbox is really special. You can open any suspicious file with the help of sandbox safely. You can get and understand more about avast from the following links--
