His policy chief has quit over the Starmer slur

In her resignation letter she wrote :
I believe it was
wrong for you to imply this week
that Keir Starmer was personally
responsible for allowing Jimmy
Savile to escape justice.
"There was no fair or reasonable
basis for that assertion. This was
not the usual cut and thrust of
politics; it was an inappropriate
and partisan reference to a
horrendous case of child sex
abuse.
"You tried to clarify your position
today but, despite my urging, you
did not apologise for the
misleading impression you gave."
Just will not listen to anyone will he ?
At least someone else in his entourage ‘gets it’ and has done the honourable thing
When will Boris do the same ?

Nothing more boring than the leader of a country running off at the mouth when cornered is there Zacs? What is everybody thinking? Ganging up on an inadequate who's only trying his best. A chancer, a liar, a bully and now it seems, a huffy teenager in the body of a man.

I haven't mentioned Starmer rubbing shoulders with anyone. That red mist certainly gets the better of you, Sticky.

You sure about that ?
You seemed sure yesterday !

Do you really believe Starmer wasn’t aware that the finger was pointing at Savile, ich? Really? A high profile figure who enjoyed the society of the rich and famous and rubbed shoulders with the influential? If he didn’t, all I can say is he wasn’t fit for office. The buck stops with the boss!

The "head" who organised the byob get together, the "MoC" at the awards do, a communist who Boris kept close to find out from her was being cooked up all resign, with a little nudge, and the flakes are in meltdown. Did they have a leaving "do"? Get some proper Conservative bag carriers in Boris ... and gag the missus.
"a communist who Boris kept close to find out from her (what?) was being cooked up all"
lol if that was true it wouldn't say much for someone who'd let a communist spy on him for 14 years at close quarters.
Mirza was a libertarian at heart: an odd sort of Marxist and a very odd person to have as your chief political adviser. But nonetheless a v close poltical soulmate.
Her husband (an ex-swinger I believe) is still there. Conspiracy theorists reckon it's all a plot to promote Sunak, as he is also close to him, and the chap who broke the story is Allegra Stratton's husband - the best man at their wedding? None other than the chancellor.
All idle gossip, but not dull for sure.

Boris is a fool ... he need to invoke the spirit of Spongebob Square Pants. Sorted.

// Conspiracy theorists reckon it's all a plot to promote Sunak, //
not only conspiracy theorists want to promote this billionaire whose 'generosity' to the poor will actually line the pockets of his friends the rich.
Boris meanwhile has fairly drastic plans for clipping the wings of the BBC which they don't like one little bit & are doing everything they can to denigrate & oust him. Sunak is starting to intimate that he might consider the top job, - just wondering ?

The bbc are doing nothing of the sort
He is doing that all by himself with his actions
They are just reporting on it

The number grows ever bigger
And that is just the public ones
How many are thinking the same privately ?
From the link :
A former minister has become the 14th Conservative MP to
publicly call for Boris Johnson to resign as prime minister.
Writing in The Daily Telegraph, Nick Gibb declared "we need to
change the prime minister" and confirmed he has submitted a letter of no confidence to the
1922 Committee.
The MP for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton said that the Conservative Party must face the
"hard truths", and added his constituents are "furious about the double standards" following the partygate revelations.
I would imagine rank and file Tories everywhere feel the same
