I have firestick in bedroom and unfortunately can't have live TV - so sometimes when you get tired searching for something decent you could watch normal TV but don't have it. Anybody else in the predicament?

Aren't most of the 'normal' Channels on the firestick. Like I presume you're talking about ITV?
Some channels can be downloaded to your firestick.

You can download iPlayer, ITV Hub, 4OD and 5player apps onto your stick.
Which means you can watch catchup, but you can also watch live TV.
Go to find and start typing, and those popular apps should be near the top. Download them, login and you are good to go.

Firestick has Netflix, YouTube, Prime and loads more. Live TV is so outdated lol. Find something you feel like and want to watch.

Watched Angela's Ashes a few nights ago - sorta enjoyed it but a little depressing with all that rain in Limerick. We get enough rain in Belfast.

Ach just thought I am missing something as in I could watch normal TV for a change. Used to love Judge Judy - nah can't stand her now with that ponytail - too old for ponies LOL. Justice Judy now. It's not everything I can watch as perhaps I may find something I would like to watch but no subtitles - Ah well back to the grindstone.
