Bbc Quiz : Week 7

It's Friday again. So, for those of us who've not got power cuts (and who still have roofs over our heads), it's quiz time again.

I got off to a flying start in the main quiz this week, with the first four answers right - but that's as far as my luck went! So that's FOUR out of seven for me.

I got off to a good start with the kids' quiz too, with the first question answered correctly. Alas though, that's as far as it went! So just ONE out of five for me :(

They had a lovely birthday and, as I had to buy a pack of two chicken breast rather than just one, they enjoyed the following day too! I was going to cook the second one for myself but I gave in and let them have it instead ;-)

(How is it that many people here, including me, repeatedly perform badly on a quiz that's designed for KIDS?)

The 3's not too bad, and the 6 is quite impressive, though ;-)

I think the potatoes were 'unusual' in that they're not what one might have expected to have been the answer!
