Two Men Who Allegedly Hate Each Other Are Getting Together Tonight For Each One To Try To Beat The Other Into Submission. And They Call It Sport. I Call It Neanderthal Thuggery.
Quote from BBC website :-
"Amir Khan and Kell Brook, both former world champions, have been involved in one of the longest-running feuds in the sport and have not hidden their dislike for each other."

These two do appear to have a genuine dislike for each other though
Nothing like Benn v Eubank way back when but still
Probably turn out to be handbags and smiles and handshakes at the conclusion or maybe a draw to trigger another lucrative rematch ?

If you're going to hit someone hard enough and often enough that you hurt him so badly that he can't stand and be hit any more, or you achieve the advised aim of what you are doing, which is to concuss him into unconsciousness, with permanent brain damage or death a viable possibility then it probably helps if you are not people who are going to be going out for an evening any time soon.
The idea that boxers should have anything other than a desire to beat their opponent senseless, seems rather against the spirit of the entire enterprise.
I always saw that as the reason why Frank Bruno was never more successful, he is simply too nice to be a boxer at that level.
It was patently obvious to anyone watching that Bruno wanted to box Tyson fair and square, while Tyson's only intent was to get as close to killing Bruno as was legally possible, and illegally, if he could get away with it.
So the idea that these two won't be going fishing in the near future, shouldn't surprise anyone in the slightest.
How unbalanced would you have to be to stand and hurt even a casual acquaintance, never mind a friend, until he was unconscious or badly hurt.
Boxes not liking each other?
Surely that's the general idea!
