depends if the floor is flat - I walk on roads alot ! because the law says they have to be flatter than pavements. We dont know if he went flying in a take that is on the cutting room floor

He walks along the same route going and coming , so why assistance returning but not going ?

It may depend -on where the light source is coming from , different in each direction.

The chair is brightly lit, the seating area is not.

If the person is visually impaired as opposed to blind, they can probably determine bright light where the chair is, but not the darker area where the seats are.
