I've not used this for about a month. There's a new bottle of gas and the ignition spark lights when the button is pressed but it won't light the gas.
Any ideas?

Something blocking the valve on the bottle?

It happened to me one time with a Calor Super Ser heater. Being young and foolish I pressed the valve with the handle of a wooden spoon releasing a blast of gas and had no problems after that.

Can't stress the young and foolish too much! :-)

I changed the bottles and it's working now.
There doesn't seem to be anything on the valve. I'll ask the gas man when he's back to swap it for me.
its russian gas and
its saying - HET! HET!
dougie - that is purging - we all do it - - (stick wooden things up doo-dahs)
If it's the newer type there's a brass coloured circular piece with another circle in the middle, that middle part is the valve that gets pushed down to allow flow.
That's the word I've been scrabbling for Peter, ta.
