It might be unwise to assume that any particular movies or DVDs will ever appears on DVD in the future. Sales of DVDs have fallen by around 90% over the past fifteen years. Some supermarkets (e.g. Sainsbury's and Tesco) have already said that they'll stop selling DVDs, with others likely to follow. Major film distribution companies, such as Warner Bros, are expected to end the sale of their movies on DVD and Blu-ray by the end of this year.
Distributors can get more money from licensing their TV shows and movies to the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Britbox if they agree not to offer them for sale on DVD or Blu-ray. So it's very unlikely that DVDs will survive for much longer.
