Life during the COVID crisis was so much more bearable without the constant bombardment of spraff from all sides, i.e. not consuming the constant stream of news.
Likewise the Putin adventure.
It's healthier not to dwell on something you can't change, vested interests will solve all immediate problems then move on to create the next ones.

I don't watch news, it's very biased, repetitive and depressing. I do though, check headlines online to make sure I am not missing anything important (the local person that came in to work to let us know about 9/11 downplayed it so much I was so much more terribly shocked than I should have been by 5.30pm when i saw what was actually involved invthd 'plane crash'...I fear not knowing about something that important again..)
