Reacher is pretty much exactly as I pictured him from the books. Excellent casting.

I thought both Reacher films were ok once you got over Tom Cruise's height.I will be taking a look at the series throughout this week.
The first season of Bosch stayed faithful to the 3 novels it was based on and i went on to enjoy every season.
If Reacher does the same, i know i'll enjoy it.

Have been binge watching this all afternoon, really enjoying it.
Half way through episode four and had to stop to get a g&t and something to eat.

My problem with Cruise as Reacher - as a Reacher fan from book one onwards - was not just his height, although he looked foolish not being the six foot five that Reacher is.

It was simply that he lacked the sense of character and gravitas that Reacher has. Cruise is too smooth and too nice to be Reacher.

I'm not sure how much Cruise paid Lee Child for the rights to the books he filmed, but it wasn't enough.

I will look out for the new series, it can't be any worse!!

Having read 25 of the Jack Reacher novels I was looking forward to these episodes ....... and I wasn't disappointed ( especially after the Tom Cruise versions ). I do hope that there is more to come. ;o)
