* Boris stands up in Parliament and says "I never attended a party", "All rules were followed", etc.
* Boris is investigated by the police, found to have broken the rules and fined; i.e. all rules were not followed, even by him (he did attend a party), let alone everybody else
* Boris does not challenge the police's conclusions, he agrees with them, and apologises for hours on end, very contritely (he then immediately attends a private meeting of Tory MPs at which he's not sorry at all, to the enragement of Steve Baker)
* Boris refuses to admit this shows he lied to Parliament, his defence being that he didn't realise he was at a party at the time but he now agrees that he was and he's very sorry (yeah right)
This is our Prime Minister, the best that we have got!
Starmer and Rayner are still being investigated, but even if found "guilty" ...
* they never lied to Parliament as Boris did
* it just means that the state of politics in our country is even worse.
